Snow, Snow, Snow

We have lived here for 17 years and I am still amazed by the weather. This is the first winter (I can remember) where the snow hasn't melted between storms. We have always prided ourselves on living in a four season community with snow and sun all in the same day (it doesn't matter what month or season. We have even seen snow in July). We tell people we don't have dirty snow on the sides of the road. Boy, was I wrong. This year the dirty stuff is everywhere.

You can't tell by the angle of the second picture but the snow on our sidewalk was mid-thigh. I had to shovel in layers. Ouch! My back hurts.
