Adoption Finalization

On Monday, April 7, 2008 at 8:30 AM we went before Judge Kay for the finalization of Bethanie's adoption. We were surprised at the formality and speed of the proceedings (only taking about 30 minutes) Bailee and I were in tears causing the lawyer to speak mostly to Greg. When the judge asked Bailee if she had anything to add, she summed up all our feelings by saying through her tears, "It's perfect!" This wonderful blessing and gift has completed our family and none of us know what we ever did without her. (pictured with the fam is our caseworker, Lisa and our lawyer, Michael)
