Parent/Tot

Bethanie and I took a swing at parent/tot swim lessons. There isn't much to it. We were really just playing in the biggest bathtub she has ever seen. We sang songs like the "Wheels on the bus" and "Humpty Dumpty" along with one about yummy flat pancakes sung to the tune of "I'm a little teapot". She loved every minute of our 30 minute lesson. Since the week long lessons ended we have been going to the pool 3 or 4 times a week to practice. This is a great way to wear her out. She often falls asleep before we get out of the parking lot.

You are so cute. Love this. I did this with all my babies. (All my kids that I had at this age I mean).

When they are learning to floating, I tell them to put out their arms and legs like a start. (Not that Bethanie would understand that but maybe later) While they float in the water, with my hand under their back, I sing to them, "I am like a star shinning brightly. Shinning for the whole world to see. I can do and say, happy things each day. For I know Heavenly Father loves me."

Each one of my kids love this and they still ask me to sing to them as they float. It is a great song to sing while floating.

Cute photos. Thanks for letting us watch her. M
