All in the Family

Since Bailee is home for two weeks (yes, two weeks only) we decided we better get some family shots in so we headed to the closest park with the tripod and camera. The past week has been filled with rotating tires, changing oil, renewing the car's registration, and getting teeth cleaned. We have to fit in a lot of maintenance stuff before she heads back to school. Bailee and I have also fit in some play too. It has been wonderful having her home even for a little while.

Some things about Bailee:

• She is a beast on the soccer field (which surprises her mother some because she was the gentle little girl watching the butterflies instead of the ball)

• She is very sensitive about smells especially on her clothes and in her hair (in high school she wouldn't go to dinner with us on the weekend if she had plans with friends).

• She is well balanced between being a tomboy and a girly-girl. Thank goodness I don't know anything about raising a girly-girl it was hard enough on me when she started picking out her own clothes and wanted to wear a skirt everyday.

• She loves a wide range of music from classical to country and everything in between (including 80's and some of that she could listen to over and over). I don't think there is much she doesn't like.

• She has a gentle heart and cares deeply for others.

Bethanie acting Sassy. Funny girl. She is shaking her head "no" whenever anyone says "N N No", loves to wave good-bye, and is crawling all over the house. Looks like I am going to have to start mopping daily.
