Storm update
Here's a look at the results of the three storms we received this week and the third storm is still going strong. Notice the nicely blown drive way. This morning was the fifth time I have plowed this week. Greg will be proud although today was the first day I needed help from the neighbor. I was having trouble getting through the snow pushed in my driveway by the city snow plow and almost three hours of rain last night leaving everything a little heavier and more icy this morning.
This was taken from the sidewalk between our home and the neighbor's home. The rock wall peeking out is a 7 foot retaining wall for the front yard. Notice how much of that wall you call see as well as how much snow is piled on top of the wall. The snow is almost to the bottom of the kitchen window on the front of the house. Needless to say the Bea girl and I have a bit of cabin fever but are making the best of things. We have colored, played with stickers, learned how to cut with scissors, cooked meals in her play kitchen, and watched way too many movies. Due to cancelled flights and freeway closures it looks like I will be stretching that independence muscle one more day.
