Better late than never
The only problem with saying, "Better late than never" is that I seem to say it a bit too often. However, I think the next few posts were destined to be late. Since I was already behind in January I won't dwell on that month.
February, on the other hand, kept me preoccupied with worry from a medical scare that turned out to be nothing. YAY! March rolls around, I am healthy and much relieved by that fact. So it is time to post about Christmas 2010. But I must start with an important lesson learned in March. That lesson is simple; posting while two three year old girls run through the house with their cute high pitched screaming voices is not an ideal time to think at least not if there are important documents being moved from point A to point B. To make a long story short I deleted all the Christmas pictures off the camera before pasting them to our server. One sick stomach and one text to the hubs later I turned off the computer and the camera retiring them both to the Hubs office with the hope that he could recover the lost files. I was confident that he could recover files from a computer but my confidence was less than enthusiastic about the camera's files being recovered. But who am I to doubt the computer nerd I call my husband. Days later (the hubs was having a busy week) the pics were recovered and I am still trying to pay him back. Good thing I let the Hubs trade my VW Bug for our first computer 23 years ago. Why you ask? Well it was the beginning of his love and fascination with these silly machines as well as a very successful career but we can not forget that with that trade also came a knowledge of how to save our precious memories of Christmas 2010.
