What are they thinking...
putting me in charge of the quarterly recipe exchange?
I admit I love GOOD food but I do not LOVE preparing said GOOD food. But to tell you the truth I am really excited about getting to know other women and the prospect of collecting fantastic recipes maybe even a few that don't require too much prep time.

So I could use a little help. Do any of you participate in a recipe exchange? What works? Any theme ideas? My first exchange takes place on March 30th.

I think you are prefect for this! We do it in our ward. They started out doing it monthly but that was too often. We know do it qaurterly. We've done main dishes, crockpot recipes, casseroles, salads (that turned out to be my favorite), and deserets. I think another fun one would be creative after school snacks or a healthy cooking one. We are supposed to bring the recipe with the dish to sample out. My problem is I loose track of a lot of the recipes. It would be cool if you could think of a way to organize them. Maybe keep the recipes and print them out and bind them in a simple book at the end. People who want a copy could pay you the $3 or so it had costed you. Hope my gabbering helped you.
