Under construction
For the past month we have been Under Construction at our house. We have been living with holes in walls, ceilings and cupping of our hardwood floor since January due one brutal snow storm after another. Overall, it was worth waiting so long to have everything fixed because the hardwood laid back down and only require sanding and refinishing and not replacing. Whew! So in addition to the necessary work we decided to do a few more things. After all, we are already in construction mode. Right?
We had the quartz backsplash removed and replaced with this beauty. Wait until you see the finished product. The tiles are a Durango travertine with glass tile accents. Being a visual person I struggled to visualize what it would look like once on the wall but it is surpassing my expectations. Thanks to the experts I don't have to keep up with all those do-it-yourself bloggers I love to follow. Double whew!
Bea kept saying, "take one of me, take one of me." So who am I to deny her a little camera action. Gotta love her little face.

That will be so nice. I love the 4thof July pictures of Bethany. She is so beautiful and looking so grown up.
